The Reading Caterpillar of OIS library organized a challenge to our grade 1. – 4. students in autumn term: to make the Caterpillar grow, the kids needed to read as many books as possible.
And that’s what they did! The Caterpillar stretched all the way from one end of the PYP corridor to the other – and half way back – before the autumn term was over!
The best readers this year were students of class 2.A. Congratulations and well done! The Caterpillar rewarded them with an Enchanted library visit organized by the library team members, The OIS reading heroes. The winners got to eat enchanted fairy cupcakes, take part in story reading, quizzes, crafts and face painting and enjoy the enchanted atmosphere of the library.
